Goodearth Florican Hill is a community housing project that responds to an extremely linear and sloping site. The design incorporates both macro and micro courts, providing green spaces to uphold community values. The project consists of three levels, each with single and duplex units. Bridges connecting the levels create vibrant community spaces that overlook the green areas below. Vertical green walls were innovatively integrated due to limited land space. The use of natural materials like ‘velikkallu’ (fencing granite) and composite masonry enhances the earthy tones. The open club space at the central block and the visual continuity from the court to the cultivated farm ensure natural ventilation and a strong connection with nature. The hierarchy of terraces and the play of massing complete the architectural image.
